Conducive Sport Environments for Young People with Problem Behaviour (COMPLETED)
Starting in June 2013, this NWO funded project will study the effect of sport participation on the life perspective of young people in youth care.
The research question is whether sport participation has a positive effect among this group, and if so, which mechanisms are responsible for this effect? In addition, this research project aims to describe determinants of successful coordinated action between youth care organisations and local sports clubs. The obtained knowledge will be used to support youth care organisations and local sport clubs in their efforts to create a conducive sport environment for these youngsters.
