Capita Selecta: Rewilding of human-dominated landscapes
The Wildlife Ecology & Conservation group of Wageningen University and ARK Nature are organising a lecture series in the form of a capita selecta.
There will be seven double lectures, on topics such as:
- What is rewilding
- Reasons for rewilding
- Natural processes & disturbances
- Stakeholders
- Communication & education
- Legislation
- PONC project: Process-Oriented Nature Conservation
- Optional closing with a field visit (in the Netherlands)
Lectures will take place on Wageningen campus, every Wednesday between March 22nd and May 3rd (period 5), 15:40 - 17:30. We aim to record them.
For Wageningen University students, it is possible to receive 2 ECTS for this capita selecta (WEC-50402) under the condition that you successfully submit an assignment (more instructions will follow) at the end of the period.
