In recent years, the AGROS project has been working on innovative solutions to challenges within horticulture, agriculture and livestock with a focus on sustainability and data-driven systems. For instance, researchers worked on 'autonomous greenhouses' controlled by intelligent algorithms, made major strides for weed control in open crops thanks to a combination of AI, computer vision and spot spray technology, and used computer vision applications to potentially improve both the health of dairy cows and reduce dairy farm emissions.
