The event will launch the SPA Policy Brief "A Network of Science, Technology, and Innovation Hubs to Catalyze Socio-Bioeconomies for the Amazon Region" and foster a strategic discussion on how these hubs can drive the transition to regenerative economies in the Amazon. Featuring insights from SPA’s new Statement on Amazonian Biodiversity, the panel will bring together experts and key stakeholders to explore how innovation hubs can leverage Amazon biodiversity and local knowledge to create sustainable products and value chains. Key findings from the Policy Brief will demonstrate how science, technology, and innovation can accelerate conservation and sustainable development, positioning Amazonian countries as global leaders in innovation.
