Dr.Erica van Herpen, REFRESH Partner, Associate Professor (Wageningen University and Research) Dr. Erica van Herpen is Associate Professor at the Marketing and Consumer Behavior Group of Wageningen University. Her research focuses on consumer decision making, examining how consumers can be stimulated to buy more healthful and sustainable products. In addition to examining how consumers choose products from assortments, she also examines in-home use of food product assortments, and how and when this results in food waste. For REFRESH, Dr. Erica van Herpen co-coordinates the work on consumer understanding in relation to waste generation. Lisanne van Geffen, REFRESH Partner, PhD Candidate (Wageningen University & Research) Lisanne van Geffen is a PhD Candidate at Wageningen University at the department for Marketing and Consumer Behaviour. Her focus is on understanding consumer behaviours related to food waste in the in-home as well as the out-of-home setting. For REFRESH Lisanne contributes to the development and coordination of the qualitative and quantitative consumer research regarding food waste related behaviours.
