Project HighLO is nominated for the WUR Impact Award 2024

Project High Energy Physics Tools in Limit Order Book Analysis (HighLO), a collaboration between Wageningen University & Research (INF, MCB and WEcR) and CERN, is nominated for the WUR Impact Award 2024. The WUR Impact Award is awarded to teams who are going beyond writing articles and really want to make an impact by addressing global challenges. The winners will be announced on June 20th during a WUR event. Project HighLO protects commodity markets using particle physics methodologies and tools (including AI and Big Data). The goal is to identify anomalies and malicious trading behaviour in markets to create more stable and trustworthy prices and ultimately better protect consumers.
