Strategic Positioning
The KB34 programme lays the knowledge base for a circular and climate-neutral society, and supports activities to strengthen dissemination, uptake and valorisation towards policy and practice. Involvement in research agenda setting and bringing expertise to underpin policy making contributes to KB34 impact. In the broad KB34 research area there are a number of relevant international and national networks such as committees, working groups, and other initiatives that contribute to research-agenda setting and policy making.
In order to achieve the desired transition towards a circular and climate neutral society, several important national and international networks (platforms, think-tanks, committees etc.) are active. Facilitating contributions of WUR scientists in this networks is of crucial importance in realising impact based on the Wageningen knowledge base.
The Strategic Positioning project facilitates scientists to take up (international) strategic positions in those platforms, think-tanks, committee, in order to contribute to:
- The transition towards a circular and climate neutral society;
- The (international) visibility of WUR scientists in this field;
- Alignment between WUR and LNV through interactions and collaborations of WUR staff and LNV policy makers;
- The set-up of new strategic partnerships.
