Grondig boeren met mais

Cultivation of silage maize in the Netherlands is under pressure. Sustainability is more and more becoming an important theme. Organic matter management, nitrate leaching and emissions in general are inevitable for the maize grower. This asks for an alternative maize cropping system, with more attentionfor proper soil management. In this project various maize cropping systems are tested and demonstrated in the field. Next to that a major component of the project is to disseminate the obtained knowledge via newsletters and field demonstrations.
