Project
European Topic Centre on urban land and soil systems ETC/ULS
The European Topic Center on Data Integration and Digitalisation (ETC/DI) consortium offers support to the EEA. Various projects are defined each year in consultation with the European Environment Agency (EEA). The main themes are monitoring and e-reporting, thematic data integration with regard to land and soil, data intelligence and Copernicus support. WENR is involved in:
- Support EEA in the development of spatial indicators, data integration and land use assessments (common agricultural policy (CAP), land degradation neutrality (LDN));
- Support the EEA in making soil data available to companies, business networks, national governments and knowledge institutions;
- Data analysis and processing (new methods and datasets);
- Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS) implementation support.
