Project
Biobased contribution to circularity and climate
The transition to a circular and biobased economy is part of the WUR strategic plan. This transition aims to achieve a fossil-free society, focussing mostly on materials. A vision and three technical pathways were defined earlier. This project will underpin the relative contribution of the pathways to circularity and climate.
To realise the transition to a fossil-free, circular and biobased economy, support from society on this transition is required. This project aims to further develop the vision and transition pathways, as defined in the Challenge Fossil Free (2020-2022), to a more tangible picture and roadmap over the full array of stakeholders involved. Subsequently we develop a narrative and communication material to help disseminate our vision and turn it into an action plan for relevant groups and BU’s within WUR. Furthermore, the vision will be validated and developed further through dialogue with external stakeholders.
