We are delighted to be hosting the symposium ‘Tackling Oomycetes’ to mark the retirement of Francine Govers as professor of Phytopathology.

At the symposium international colleagues and former co-workers will reflect on the impact of oomycete plant diseases, current insights in the biology of oomycetes and their interaction with plants, and the state of the art of resistance breeding. Future challenges are to exploit this knowledge to tackle oomycetes.

Location: Speakers Corner in Impulse (building 115) at the Wageningen Campus

The symposium will begin at 12:45. The program and a link to register will be posted soon. Registration is free of charge.

The symposium will be followed by Francine's farewell lecture starting at 16:00hrs in Omnia.
