Wageningen Geography Lectures
Hosted by the Cultural Geography Group, Wageningen University & Research
The Wageningen Geography Lectures is an annual program of speakers whose work contributes to the key research themes of our group: cultural politics of landscape; cultural geographies of tourism and leisure; and intersections between nature, culture, and landscape. Each year, five internationally-recognized scholars are invited to speak on their recent and forthcoming work for a public audience, as well as engage with students at bachelors, masters and PhD level in a variety of didactic settings. While there is no annual theme to the series, each year’s program reflects the scope of emerging research in Cultural Geography, and its contributions to key questions in social science.
