Summary

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) present a growing global concern due to widespread usage and environmental persistence, leading to water contamination. To tackle this issue, we explored supramolecular chemistry as a solution. The thesis tells a story about removing PFAS from water by using a molecule called pillararene. This research represents a significant step towards mitigating PFAS contamination and advancing water purification technologies.
