The 8th Environmental Humanities LU talk will be given by Edward Huijbens, professor of geography at Wageningen University and chair of Wageningen's cultural geography research group. The talk is titled "Herðubreið - Mountainous Geo-Power and Deep Time" and will focus on Huijbens's recent work on the cultural geography of Iceland's volcanic regions in relation to the current climate and biodiversity crisis.
