Summary
In this project, the infection process of Fusarium oxysporum in gerbera was studied using plant pathogenic Fusarium oxysporum marked with green fluorescent protein (GFP). This method has also been used to investigate the effect of beneficial microorganisms from biopesticides on the speed of Fusarium infection in gerbera. Experiments in gerbera greenhouses with control of Fusarium/Verticillium during gerbera cultivation with five different biopesticides have also been carried out at two companies producing gerbera flowers. Research shows that antagonistic microorganisms can delay the spread of Fusarium oxysporum in gerbera plant.
