Research through design for urban climate Amsterdam
Within different running and new projects in Amsterdam, research through design is conducted to combat expected effects of urban heat and drought.
PhD researcher Sjoerd Brandsma is embedded in the municipality of Amsterdam's design teams to test different approaches of research through design and their effectiveness to bring about designs that will prevent urban heat and draught. The two approaches are co-design on the one hand and technical design on the other hand.
