Weronika holds a Master's Degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from ENSA Paris Belleville and a Master's in City and Technology from the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree at Urban Economics group, Wageningen University. Her particular interest lies in the intersection of economics, sociology, technology and urban planning. Knowledgeable in the realm of urban analysis and emergent technologies, she is currently focusing on digital simulation methods (such as Agent-Based Modelling and Digital Twins) for the improvement of the plastic waste management system. In parallel, she is a Research Fellow at the Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions where she engages in multidisciplinary projects that tackle problems of the contemporary urban environment and ensure a transition towards a more just and resilient future.
