I am a Lecturer & Researcher Sustainable Land Management working in the Water & Food team of Wageningen Environmental Research and the Soil Physics and Land Management (SLM) group at Wageningen University. My passion lies in agricultural development and land restoration efforts in Sub-Saharan Africa, in particular West and East Africa. More specifically, I focus on participatory approaches to tackling land degradation on the one hand and the incorporation of agroecological principles into the development of local farming systems on the other.
