I am a senior software engineer at Wageningen Environmental Research and a PhD candidate at the Artificial Intelligence chair-group of Wageningen University.

My background is in Computer Science and Informatics, combined with extensive practical experience in machine learning, Geographic Information Systems and Integrative Modelling. My focus is on distributed computing, functional programming, machine learning and semantic technologies, to realise primarily (geospatial) data-driven systems (GeoAI) that help in solving complex problems in the agri-food and environmental domains.
