My research focusses on the governance aspects of the water transition in the Netherands. This includes designing pathways to governance systems that contribute to a climate-robust design of the Dutch water system and a climate-robust landscape for the coming decades.

My PhD is part of the WaterScape project, which focusses on the transformation of water and governance systems for dealing with climate impacts in the Dutch Delta.

I have worked for 2 years at the Water Auhority ("Waterschap") of Limburg on projects of floodprotection. My study background is in International Land and Watermanagement at WUR.
