Namrata Narendra is an urban researcher, practitioner, and artist from Bangalore, India. She is currently a PhD in the Peri-Nature project, part of the Sociology of Development and Change (SDC) chair group. She has a background in architecture and the built environment. Her academic interests include urbanization and water governance in the South Asian context. She is specifically focussed on investigating the relationship between water regimes and nature in rapidly urbanizing spaces in India through a qualitative and ethnographic approach. When not reading, Namrata spends her time drawing and exploring cities by foot and pedal.
