Mohsin Raza is a PhD candidate in Business Economics at the Business Economics Group, Wageningen University & Research, Netherlands. His research focuses on the economic analysis of adopting low-pesticide practices and technologies in Dutch agriculture, with a broader interest in sustainable agricultural practices and resource economics. He holds an Erasmus Mundus Double Degree Master's in Agricultural, Food, and Environmental Policy Analysis (AFEPA) with affiliations to the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), Sweden, and the University of Bonn, Germany. He also holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Beijing Normal University (BNU), Beijing, China.

Mohsin has diverse research experience, having worked as a research assistant at the Center for Development Research (ZEF), University of Bonn, where he contributed to projects on environmental sustainability and economic development. Additionally, he collaborated with the Chair Group of Agricultural Production and Resource Economics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), focusing on pest management strategies and control measures in European agriculture. He has also been involved in research collaborations with the Nordic Africa Institute (NAI), Uppsala, Sweden, on projects related to sustainable management of natural resources, farmer’s vulnerability and resilience to natural hazards, and urbanization & environmental degradation in low- and middle-income countries.

His research interests include sustainable agricultural practices and food systems, bio-economic modeling, economic resilience, and environmental sustainability. Mohsin has presented his research at international conferences and has co-authored peer-reviewed publications.
