Assisstant ProfessorMy research ambition is to contribute to achieving water security and food security simultaneously for society. To do this, I use integrated modeling and scenario analysis approaches to address the interactions between water, food, and society and account for these interactions in future water and food management. I am involved in water quality research, with a particular emphasis on nutrient pollution. I co-developed the MARINA model to simulate river export of nutrients to seas and developed the NUFER-county model to simulate nutrient flows in the food chain of Chinese counties.
