LI (Luis) Reyes Galindo PhD
Docent, OnderzoekerI am a sociologist of science (and a former physicist) from Mexico, specializing in the social, cultural and political dimensions of science, and more generally, of expertise. I'm also interested in both the conceptual and the practical ins-and-outs of scientific publishing, working as Deputy Editor in Chief at the journal Tapuya: Latin American Science, Technology and Society. My other research topics include science communication, the sociology of trust, intercultural communication, and the Casimir effect in physics. I've worked as a researcher in Mexico, Brazil, the UK, and now the Netherlands.
In my free time I paint in watercolour, dry pastels and oils.
