Programme Director Nature Inclusive TransitionsDr Lawrence Jones-Walters is Director of the Knowledge Base/Kennis Basis (KB) Programme for Nature Inclusive and Landscape within Corporate Strategy and Accounts, Wageningen University and Research (WUR), the Netherlands. He delivers a figurehead role for biodiversity within and outside WUR and directs a strategic funding programme, supported by the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, for the WUR research institutes to conduct impacting research into the transition to a more nature-inclusive society.
Skilled in strategic level organisational management, the rapid establishment and maintenance of high level strategic relations, he has extensive experience of international project and programme management and more than 20 years’ experience of international work in Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and North America. A native English speaker and a recognised expert in knowledge based facilitation and moderation, he has a PhD in conservation management, an MSc in Applied Entomology and an MBA.
