PromovendusI am a paleobiologist with a keen interest in the biological productivity and functioning of marine ecosystems. My PhD is part of the project From Sea to Society, an initiative for a sustainable Low Trophic Aquaculture (LTA) chain providing functional proteins for human consumption. My goals are to model the production of biomass from combined seaweed-mussel cultivation in offshore wind farms, and to assess its ecological carrying capacity and impact on marine ecosystem dynamics, using Dynamic Energy Budget (DEB) theory.
