dr. I (István) Fodor
ResearcherFollow me:
I graduated as a veterinarian in 2014 and as a biostatistician in 2020. During my PhD, which I completed in 2018, I studied the relationship between reproductive management and performance on commercial dairy farms using a large database. Before joining Wageningen Livestock Research, I worked as a biostatistician in veterinary vaccine development.
At Wageningen Livestock Research, my main focus is on improving the health and resilience of animals, as well as the sustainability of animal farming. To this end, I develop statistical models, data science solutions, new phenotypes, and new phenotyping methods. I work with a wide range of farm animals, including dairy cows, poultry, insects, and pigs.
