WR OnderzoekerIrina holds a PhD degree in Agricultural Economics from Wageningen University (2004) and has 17 years’ of experience in impact assessments of agricultural and environmental policies. Last years she has been engaged in sustainability related projects and environmental footprinting. During 2014-2017 she worked for consulting company Delphy (formerly known as DVL Plant) where she was managing horticulture related projects related to knowledge dissemination and worked with private clients as well as donors like USAID, RVO, NUFFIC. In 2013-2014 she was a program manager for the foundation “Greenport Holland International”, focusing on developing business leads in countries like Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia for companies and knowledge institutes from the Dutch Horticultural sector. During her previous work for Wageningen Economic Research in 2007-2013 she was co-leading an EU FP6 project on impact assessment of land use policies in developing countries. In EU project SEAMLESS she was responsible for synthesising methodologies and approaches, for linking farm bio-economic models and sector model (CAPRI, Bonn).
