dr. H (Hilde) Tobi
Associate professorI am a creative research methodologist with over 30 years of experience in scientific disciplines ranging from the social sciences to medical sciences to environmental sciences. Teaching, research and consultancy experiences in these contexts informed the Methodology for Interdisciplinary Research framework (see https://rdcu.be/Lru1). More recently, I also got involved in teaching and research in maritime piloting.
As a team-player I prefer to focus on commonalities and am eager to learn from differences. My research specialisation is methodology of interdisciplinary research including research ethics and integrity. I am particularly interested in measurement of complex constructs and the development of research instruments for measurement in vulnerable populations like children, or people with intellectual disabilities.
