ir. HJ (Hermjan) Barneveld
Externe medewerkerI graduated in 1988 in Civil Engineering at the Technical University of Delft. From 1990 till 1996 I worked at Delft Hydraulics (now Deltares) and participated in several studies on river hydraulics and morphology. These included projects in the Netherlands focusing on river engineering, navigability, water supply, river basin management, flood management and modelling of water and sediment movement in Dutch rivers. I joined HKV Consultants in 1996 doing research and giving advise on rivers and delta's. I have been involved in many large-scale and visionary projects aiming at a river system in which water safety, spatial planning and economy are mutually addressed. Examples are Room for the River, Meuseworks, Delta Programme and Integrated River Management.
For PAO-MT I am coordinator for the 4 days course on Modern River Manamegent.
