H (Hao) Wang

Hi, I'm Hao Wang! I'm a Postdoc at the ELSA (Ethical, Legal and Social Aspects) Lab, working with Prof. Vincent Blok. I focus on the design and governance of the ELSA Lab, exploring how to develop an innovative ELSA approach to ensure responsible and trustworthy AI for agri-food systems. Our big dream is to whip up AI technologies for sustainable agriculture that are not only deliciously smart but also following the ethical, legal and social rules that are shared by academia, government, business and civil society. So, get ready for a feast of innovation!

I got my PhD in AI Ethics and Politics from the University of Amsterdam in 2022. Before joining WUR, I also had a stint at TUDelft, contributing to the design of an efficient Ethics Review Toolkit to evaluate the ethical and legal risks of human research.
