Project coordinatorGiulia Salvini is a project coordinator and knowledge broker in sustainable land management and climate change at Wageningen Environmental Research.
The projects she coordinates deal with topics such as nature based solutions, climate adaptation and mitigation, nature restoration and sustainable (climate smart) agriculture.
In her work Giulia aims to bridge the gap between science and society. She brings different stakeholders together for sustainable agriculture, nature preservation and other societal challenges. These stakeholders include the general public, farmers, agribusiness companies and decision makers.
She uses various approaches including co-creation, participatory land use planning, system thinking, knowledge brokering, dissemination, communication and data visualization.
