PUREFOOD is a Marie Curie Initial Training Network funded by the European Commission’s Seventh Framework PEOPLE program. The objective of PUREFOOD is to train a pool of early-stage researchers in the socio-economic and socio-spatial dynamics of the (peri-)urban and regional foodscape.

Supurbfood
Towards sustainable modes of urban and peri-urban food provisioning. Until recently, short food supply chains and multifunctional agriculture were considered to be part of the rural development realm. This project looks at these topics from the perspective of urban rather than rural development.
