PhD Student, PhD CandidateDung Phuong Le is a PhD Candidate in Climate Security and Food Systems in the joint PhD program between the Wageningen University and Research (WUR), the Consultative Group for International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), and the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI). Her study uses both quantitative and qualitative approaches to explore the linkage between climate change, adaptation and human security in the Mekong Delta. She also contributes to the work in Climate Security Inequality Nexus of the CGIAR Climate Security program and to the Climate Mobility work in the Work Package 5 of Asian Mega-Deltas Initiative. Before doing PhD, she was a Senior Research Associate working with the Impact Assessment team at the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT Asia office. She has more than 10 years of experience in implementing and leading several large-scale surveys and using quantitative methods to analyze data and provide insights in topics related to technology adoption, impact of genetic crop improvement, poverty, vulnerability assessment, and climate change adaptation. Dung holds a MSc in Agricultural and Food Economics from University of Bonn, Germany and Swedish University of Agriculture, Sweden.
