As PhD candidate at the Farm Technology Group I work on the development of an assessment strategy to determine the ammonia emission from dairy cow houses. The work consist of a variety of disciplines in order to come to an assessment strategy:

Execute a sensitivity analysis on the currently used Ammonia Emission Model "Snelstal"
Develop measurement methods to measure the most relevant ammonia emission related variables
Execute measurements in Dutch commercial dairy cow houses and analyse the results
Wrap up information, so combine measurement results and model work
