I am a Postdoc and Teacher for food carbohydrates with a strong analytical (bio)chemistry background. I am particularly curious to understand how the structural features of carbohydrates can be related to their functionalities, in food, medical, material sciences, or other applications. I have worked with a multitude of analytical methods to characterize carbohydrates, especially chromatography – mass spectrometric approaches. I supervise various scientific projects and collaborate with various industrial partners. Planning, communicating, and collaborating with others are points that I thoroughly enjoy and that challenge me to grow as a scientist and as a person. I have good interpersonal skills, and I am an adaptable, organized, curious, proactive, and motivated researcher.
