Manager Knowledge Transfer OfficeFollow me:
As a seasoned innovation management expert, I am committed to harnessing the full potential of groundbreaking research to drive tangible societal impact. In my role as the Manager of the Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO), I am at the helm of orchestrating the seamless transfer of knowledge, technology, and research outputs from our esteemed university to the broader community. This multifaceted responsibility entails close collaboration with researchers, industry partners, and government agencies, aiming to identify collaborative opportunities that ensure our research has a profound and positive influence on society.
Through the strategic deployment of impact initiatives, forging of collaborative development partnerships, intellectual property licensing, the establishment of innovative spin-off ventures, and the facilitation of essential infrastructure for knowledge transfer, I am committed to strenghten the societal impact of our research.
My background in law and business administration has equipped me with the skills to foster growth and innovation within organizations. Prior to my tenure at Wageningen University & Research, I headed the KTO at Radboud University and served as an innovation management consultant, providing valuable guidance to businesses and organizations on the principles of open innovation. My expertise extended to helping them effectively leverage their intellectual property, secure funding, and successfully bring novel products and services to market.
In addition to my role at Wageningen University & Research, I actively participate as a member of advisory boards and investment committees, particularly focusing on early-stage funding initiatives. Furthermore, I have had the privilege of supporting over 500 startups in their journey towards innovation and impact.
