A (Alvaro) Hopkins Barriga MSc
PromovendusMy name is Álvaro Hopkins Barriga, and I am an economist from Peru. I hold an MA and a bachelor's degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and an MSc from WUR. I am currently a PhD candidate working on enhancing food system resilience in Sub-Saharan Africa under the supervision of Marrit van den Berg and Ezra Berkhout. My research focuses on contract farming, agro-industry, quality seed adoption, and climate-resilient agriculture. I have experience working on research projects in Ecuador, Kenya, Peru, Tanzania, and Uganda.
