I am a curious human who's passionate about the human mind, ecology, technology, and all things that relate, sit within, and in between those terms.
Holding a Combined Bachelor's and Master's Degree in International Law from Bocconi University, I am an insatiable learner, with profound interests spanning the intricacies of environmental ethics, nature's value, applied complexity in human/wildlife interactions, and the complex relationships between these different realms.

At the Sovereign Nature Initiative, I am deeply devoted to leveraging technology, policy, and ecological values to address the challenges of human-wildlife coexistence. My primary role is to cultivate partnerships with prominent wildlife conservation and restoration organizations. Together, we are co-creating innovative proof-of-concepts for alternative fundraising methods and the public ecological education.

Besides my full-time work at SNI, I am passionately committed to researching and employing best practices from both the ecological and social sciences to navigate the complex terrains of human-wildlife coexistence, an inquiry I'm pursuing as a PhD Candidate at the University of Wageningen  (Chair Sociology of Development and Change). My research at WUR focuses on developing a more ecological way of "Understanding the influence of laws on the capacity of humans and wildlife to coexist" using principles from complexity and social sciencee.

On the other side of my work, I am immersed in field research that delves into conservation policy, rewilding strategies, wildlife management, and the significance of monitoring and data collection.

On a more personal note, I guess looking for wisdom inspired by life's processes that inform human action and thought coupled with a sensitivity for nature's marvel and mystery is a good summary of what moves me most.

Lastly, it's worth mentioning that aside from all the heady stuff, I am a qualified kitesurf instructor and I spend as much time a good part of my off-screen time freediving, surfing, and kitesurfing.
