I am a PhD researcher at the Forest and Nature Conservation Policy group. Before that, I graduated from a Master in International Environmental Policy (Sciences Po), with majors in agriculture and gender studies. My work experiences include assessing agro-environmental policy (French congress), coordinating an agroforestry community project in Colombia (non-profit), research on land use and SDGs in France (research) and working for reforestation projects in Colombia (consultant).
My thesis focuses on the banana value chain between Colombia (Magdalena department) and the EU. I am interested in assessing how biodiversity and equity is seen and integrated in the value chain, and how can the value chain be transformed towards more sustainable pathways, both environmentally and socially. I use a qualitative approach.
My thesis is part of the Transformative change for biodiversity and equity (TC4BE) project, lead by WUR and financed by the European Union.
