A (Abraham) Ochoa Guerrero
PostdocMy name is Abraham Ochoa-Guerrero. Throughout my professional studies, I have developed a deep interest in using droplet microfluidics to tackle chemical and biological challenges. My first report in this area focused on a microfluidic platform for identifying enzyme inhibitors (Anal. Chem. 2017, 89, 9, 4889–4896). During my graduate studies, I further explored this field by developing microfluidic agarose gel beads for antibiotic susceptibility assays (Analyst 2023, 148, 5762-5774). Currently, as a postdoctoral researcher at Wageningen University and Research, I am investigating collective resistance mechanisms in E. coli. I am particularly interested in applying droplet-based microfluidics to perform chemical and microbiological assays.
