New colleague Anoeska van den Noort joined ELS per September 2024

My name is Anoeska van den Noort. I work as a school leader at SBO Michaëlschool, a school for special primary education in Amersfoort. After my master Educational Leadership I had the desire to do a PhD research. I am very glad now to have the opportunity to combine this with my work as a school leader. I’m doing my PhD project under supervision of Piety Runhaar and Anje Ros (Fontys Hogeschool).

My research will focus on the role of the school leader in enhancing team learning. It aims to explore how school leader-, team- and context characteristics play a role in fostering or hindering team learning in Dutch primary schools and, secondly, how school leaders’ capability in fostering team learning can be developed.
