MSc student wins national award for best thesis

During their theme day, the ‘Nederlandse Bodemkundige Vereniging’ (NBV; Dutch Soil Science Association) awarded our MSc student Andreas Burr with the Hissink prize, a national award for the best soil science thesis. Andreas won the award for his pioneering work on disentangling the role of earthworms in soil phosphorus cycling with an 18O isotopic approach. He was supervised by Alix Vidal (SBL) and Hannah Vos (SOC). The award ceremony took place in Amsterdam on the 25^thof October.
