Kickstart your master’s thesis research with the DMP template
Are you a WUR MSc student preparing for your thesis? We strongly recommend writing a Data Management Plan (DMP) to handle data throughout your thesis. WUR Library developed an MSc DMP template to help you in this process.
What is a Data Management Plan (DMP)?
In a DMP, you outline all aspects of managing the data from your thesis research. The newly developed WUR MSc DMP template guides you through the basic steps. It answers questions such as what data you want to collect, whether you are working with personal data and what requirements you must meet for these, where to safely store your data, and whether you need to archive the data after your thesis.
Good data management helps you to manage your thesis research and will also benefit your future research career. The DMP template was developed in collaboration with WUR data stewards and a WUR Master student.
