Healthy & Safe Food Systems research programme video
A video has been released in which Gulden Yilmaz, Milou van der Schans, Nicole de Wit, and Wim van der Poel provide valuable insights into the expertise and research being done in the Healthy & Safe Food Systems research programme.
WUR’s strategic research programme ‘Healthy & safe food systems’ is developing knowledge to make food products more sustainable and healthier. Research also focuses on a better understanding of the implications of transitions in the food system on sustainability, health and safety-related issues. Consumer behaviour and choices are also looked at in detail to be able to come up with strategies that facilitate making more sustainable & healthy choices. Via a systemic approach, research is covering multiple angles considering products, production, and consumption, including choices, and behaviour.
