Forum Library reopens 4 November
Forum Library reopens on Monday, 4 November, and will be open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can borrow books from the open shelves; however, the books and journals from the stacks are unavailable.
Study spots
From Monday 4 November, most study places are available. It will be indicated on site which areas & rooms are accessible and which are not. The study places on the 4th floor can be booked via TimeEdit.
For the time being, the Library will close every evening at 7 pm and will also remain closed on weekends.This is due to the ongoing repair works so that we can minimize any inconvenience during the day.
As of Monday 4 November, Aurora will be open in the evening hours (Monday through Thursday evenings) until 11 pm.
Borrowing books
Although we reopen on Monday, options for borrowing or requesting books remain limited, as our library stacks are not yet accessible.
From Monday 4 November, you can borrow the books on the open shelves in the Library again. Students may retrieve these books themselves, while staff can also request them using the blue "Get it!" button in WUR Library Search. Unfortunately, books and journals from the closed stacks in the Library basement are unavailable. Their shelving location is Stacks. You cannot request them.

Online access
Online, you can access the subscribed journals and databases. For more information see our FAQ on Off-campus access to online resources.
Special Collections
Special Collections will remain closed until further notice. The exhibition Beautiful Botany has been postponed. The lecture by David Coppoolse on 7 November will take place as announced, however, there will be no guided tour.
