Financing sustainable and resilient transitions in agri & food systems - EAAE seminar 13-14 November
Join us for a collaborative event! The Social Sciences Group welcomes you to the joint Seminar: "Financing Sustainable and Resilient Transitions in Agri & Food Systems," to be held on November 13-14.
Together, let's explore how sustainability-related risks and vulnerabilities can affect the value of assets, the dynamics of finance, and the landscape of insurance. We'll delve into innovative financial instruments that have the potential to enhance biodiversity and social sustainability. Moreover, we'll gather valuable insights from green and sustainability-linked bonds.
Recognizing the pivotal role finance plays in facilitating the transition to more sustainable and resilient agri & food systems, this seminar is a collaborative effort by the Business Economics group, the Environmental Economics and Natural Resources group, and Wageningen Economic Research, all part of the Social Sciences Group at Wageningen University & Research.
This two-day event promises a rich exchange of research findings, practical experiences, and forward-thinking visions. We extend a warm welcome to scientists, policymakers, and practitioners from the financial sector to join us on the Wageningen Campus.
