Anke Brons listed in Food100, young talent making change in the food system

Anke Brons was recognized by Food100 as one of fifty young up-and-coming talents in contributing to innovation in the food sector. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Wageningen University studying governance of sustainable diets in the European Union.

Food innovation

Food100 is bringing the top innovators in the food sector together in order to feed the ongoing dialogue between young and established food innovators. Food100 recognized 50 of the top up-and-coming talents under 35 and 50 established change-makers above 35 who are bringing 'food-change' to society.

Anke Brons

Anke Brons is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Public Administration and Policy group, working on the PLAN'EAT project⁠—an EU Horizon project about Food systems transformation towards healthy and sustainable dietary behaviour. 

Anke obtained her PhD at the Environmental Policy Group (WUR) and conducted her PhD as an external candidate based at Aeres University of Applied Sciences in Almere. Her PhD project addressed questions around inclusiveness in urban food practices, both in terms of consumption and governance.
