Samenvatting

Data sharing demand is increasing frequently due to most industries shifting their businesses to digital form. Data sharing has become crucial to the modern digital economy due to factors like generation of huge volumes of data and data spreading across various sources. With these factors, there have been several privacy and data misuse concerns. To address these, one of the most significant data privacy regulations is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) with consent as the most used legal base. However, there are scenarios where consent is not enough: for selling of data, for example, a contract is required, where additional obligations are defined to get more control over data. Besides contracts, GDPR-compliant automated clearance of rights on digital assets is another instrument to improve data sharing in the digital economy. This research improves data-sharing infrastructures with contracts and licenses and ensures better user interaction with the data-sharing systems and data quality.
