German for government employees

Do you want to learn German to communicate more effectively with your partners in the Euregion or elsewhere in Germany? Do you feel unsure about your communication skills and do you want to learn more about German management culture and business manners? Then follow this German course for employees of municipalities, provinces and the national government.

The language skills from your profession are central. You will deepen your knowledge and understanding of administrative German and receive tools for communicating professionally in German. You will learn to use German terminology correctly, whilst paying attention to correct tone and style.

What will be covered during this course?

  • speaking skills in a variety of work-related situations, including introducing, meeting, telephoning, smalltalk and presenting;
  • written skills, like writing emails and meeting reports;
  • explaining the political structure and governance culture;
  • understanding the differences between Germany and the Netherlands and where these differences come from.
